Low Vision

Low vision is a severe loss of eyesight that cannot be correct with glasses, contact lenses or surgery. Losing your eyesight can disturb your central vision, peripheral vision—or both—and make it hard to do everyday activities such as driving, writing, reading and recognizing faces. The most common causes are macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetes or suffering from a stroke.
