Dr. Ramachandran is a board-certified ophthalmologist with expertise in cataract, glaucoma, medical retina, and refractive surgery. He completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University, an Ivy League institution, and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio, where he was honored with the Outstanding Ophthalmology Student of the Year Award.
Following his internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Ramachandran completed his ophthalmology residency at the Henry Ford Health System. Passionate about education, he has authored a widely used ophthalmology review book for medical students worldwide and has served as a faculty member at The Ohio State University. He is also a proud member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ramachandran enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, cheering on the Buckeyes, and traveling.
